Welcome to Wider Europe!

The Wider Europe Programme has been running at Sussex European Institute at the University of Sussex since 2003, and is a collaborative project with the European Research Institute in Birmingham, the European University Institute in Florence, and Leiden University. Our aim is to provide a forum for academics, civil servants, lawyers, businessmen and other stakeholders with an interest in European Neighbourhood Policy to discuss the policy-relevant issues that relate to this field of EU policy.
